The JHS Learning Hub is a free online platform that aims to equip frontline workers who serve justice-involved populations with the knowledge and practical skills to spot and respond to their clients’ common civil legal issues, like evictions or loss of income assistance, earlier, and as a result, prevent their escalation. Certification options are available.

On the Hub, you will find:

  • Short, animated training videos on how to spot a client’s civil legal issues and steps you can take to help them address these issues

  • Complementary handout resources and an interactive FAQ for quick reference

  • A sign-up option to track your progress on training modules and earn certificates of completion

  • A map which highlights some of the key client referral locations based on each local JHS office across Ontario
